Following the disappointing 27-13 home loss at home to Cinderford last Saturday, which brought to a halt the Club’s four-match winning run, Blackheath travel to the West Midlands tomorrow to face Birmingham Moseley.
Kick-off at Billesley Common (B13 0HN) is at 3.00 pm.
Moseley began their season well, winning four of their first five matches, including a 27-20 victory against Cinderford in the Forest of Dean, but since losing 46-3 to Old Elthamians at College Grove in October, their progress has stuttered a little and they now sit ninth in the table.
‘Mose’ suffered their first home defeat last Saturday with a thumping 45-10 loss to Cambridge, who Blackheath beat away a fortnight ago, again demonstrating just how unpredictable National League One is at present.
Though not as bad as first feared, Leo Fielding’s shoulder injury, sustained against Cinderford, will keep him out until after Christmas, so there is a welcome return for Nick Foster at full-back.
Jack Daly is fit to return via the bench, and Henry Staff is also added to the replacements.
Blackheath team to play Moseley.
