Club to Host Another International

Posted by

Blackheath has a rich history of hosting International rugby matches, most recently when we provided the home ground for England Counties when they took on, and beat, France Federale in March 2016.  This season we are proud to continue this tradition as Well Hall will be the venue for the 1st Test in a three Test series between England Deaf Rugby and New Zealand Deaf Rugby on 4th November, the same day Club take on Bishops Stortford.

The Club match will kick off at 2pm in order to accommodate the Test match, which will in turn get under way at 5pm, thus leaving plenty of time for those wishing to see the fireworks to get to Blackheath.

Entry to the 1st XV match will be free to members as usual, and £15 to non-members.  From 3pm entry to the end of the Club match and the Test Match will be £10, with a £5 discount for Greenwich Discount Card holders.

We are sure that all Club supporters will want to come to both games to give full support to both the Club and the England XVs, as well as supporting the principle of this important event.
