We are sad to announce the deaths of two former players.
H.J.C (John) Brown played for Blackheath from 1959-1962. He had the distinction of representing Great Britain in two major sports. In 1962 he toured South Africa with the British Lions (Rugby Union) and in 1968 he was a member of the Great Britain Winter Olympics Team (4 Man Bobsleigh) where he won a bronze medal. His funeral was held last week.
Graham Lewis played for Blackheath in the early 1960s. He was a past Captain of The Club, and also a Vice President. He died on 8th May 2019. A memorial service is taking place at 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd May at St Giles Church, Horsted Keynes, West Sussex, RH17 7AY.
