Mick “Pup” Harris

Posted by

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the departure of our Club Bar Manager, Playing Legend and Good Friend Mick “Pup” Harris.

Mick has thought long and hard over several months but believes now is the right time for a change in direction with his career. Now that he has helped to transform Well Hall from what it was and made the Club Bar his own over the 3 and a half years he feels now is the right time to leave it to others to carry on. I personally cannot thank him enough for everything he has helped us do and I wish him every success for the future which I am sure that all of you will do over the coming days and weeks before he finally says good bye to Well Hall.

We will be considering how best to fill Mick’s shoes over the next few weeks, so if anyone is interested please contact the office initially.

All the best Mick and thanks for everything.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Mick perform great deeds for the club both on and off the pitch and words aren’t enough to express my appreciation. Wishing you all the best in the future Mick and the first pint is on me.

Sad to see Mick go, as it is where I first encountered him (Club, that is, not Well Hall). For anyone who was unfortunate enough not to see Mick play for the Club, he was a superb No. 8 and it was always a pleasure to watch his skills both around the scrum and generally on the field. I worked with Mick in my late husband’s business, where Mick was a pivotal employee. Mick, if you are reading this, please keep in touch – dorothy.robbie@gmail.com – and let me know how you and your girls are faring. I wish you every success in whatever your next career move involves, and, as others have said, thankyou for all you have done for the Club over the years. Best wishes, Dorothy
