Tomorrow, Blackheath make the long journey to the south-west to face Plymouth Albion. Kick-off at Brickfields is 3.00 pm.
Albion have not had the start of the season they would have liked, sitting just behind Blackheath, 9th in the table, and having lost all their games on the road.
Brickfields, however, remains a fortress, the only blemish a two-point defeat to Bishop’s Stortford on the opening day of the campaign, and their pack is a formidable weapon, especially if the forecast heavy rain materialises.
Good for Blackheath then that Tom Baldwin makes his first start for over a year at blind-side, and Shek Sheriff, on loan from London Scottish, is a welcome addition to the second-row.
Skipper Markus Burcham returns to the centre.
If you’re not travelling to Devon tomorrow, don’t forget Well Hall will be open from 8.30 am for the England v New Zealand semi-final.
Food and beverage will be available.
