Stradwick Fry’s up a plan for Kent

Club hooker Harry Fry has been chosen to captain Kent as they begin their quest for the Bill Beaumont Cup in this year’s County Championship.

Fry is one of ten Blackheath players, including Tom Stradwick who is also forwards coach, who will make up the county squad which starts its campaign this Saturday when they travel to Rosedale Sports Club, home of Cheshunt Rugby Club, to take on Hertfordshire (KO 3 pm)

Kent, who take ten points from their two wins last season into this year’s competition, will then host Surrey at Goddington Dene (Westcombe Park) on 12th May, and Devon at  Hall Road (Aylesford Bulls RFC) a week later.
