Bishop’s Stortford travel down the M11 tomorrow afternoon looking to make it a hat-trick of victories in their third visit to Well Hall.
Indeed, Stortford very much hold the upper hand in the two clubs’ four meetings to date, winning on three occasions, Blackheath’s only success a slender 16-15 win at Silver Leys last December.
The Hertfordshire side will also arrive on the back of a useful 21-11 victory over Rams last time out, and although only sitting in tenth spot in the league, four of their five defeats have given them a losing bonus point.
Blackheath will be in confident mood to mess up Stortford’s unblemished record at Well Hall after successive wins which put them fourth in the table.
In fact, so pleased was he with the Club’s 26-19 win at Brickfields last week, James Shanahan keeps exactly the same squad of twenty for the first time in, well, a long time.
Please note, kick-off for this match is at 2.30 pm.
Don’t forget (as if you would!) it’s also the RWC Final tomorrow between England and South Africa (KO 9.00 am). Well Hall will open its doors at 8.00 am and food and beverages will be available throughout.
Blackheath Team to take on Bishop’s Stortford at Well Hall – KO 2.30 pm.
