Six wins from the last seven matches keeps Blackheath in fourth place in National League One, but more significantly the Club are now just two points away from top spot.
With both Richmond and Rosslyn Park suffering surprise defeats last Saturday, the chasing pack have reeled in the top two sides and now just seven points cover the top seven clubs.
Bottom of those seven are tomorrow’s opponents Darlington Mowden Park.
DMP lost their first three games at the Northern Echo Arena but, following a 37-17 win against Old Elthamians in October, their home form has improved, culminating in a 66-8 thumping of Moseley last week.
If they get close to that result tomorrow, they’ll overhaul Blackheath in the table but, one aberration apart (Sale FC), the Club’s away record so far has been exemplary.
Ben Ransom starts at full-back tomorrow, and Stef Liebenberg returns at scrum-half for the injured Jack Daly.
Up front, Harry Seward plays at tight-head and Dan Lamb and James Catt come in via the bench.
