Don’t forget that the World Cup Trophy is visiting the Rectory Field to coincide with the 1st XV taking on Cinderford this coming Saturday in our first home game of the season. There will be some new souvenir T Shirts for sale in the Club shop.
The Trophy itself will arrive around 4pm / 4:30 depending on traffic i.e. about half way through the match which kicks off at 3:00, and will leave Rectory Field at 6pm sharp. The organisers assured me that they are used to big queues and have told me they should get through a large number of folks in that time, but do allow enough time.
As it’s a match day normal gate prices apply:
- £15 non members
- £7 Supporter Members
- Free to Full members and children
After half time entry is £5 and it will be free after the final whistle for everyone to come in and see the trophy.
We strongly urge people to sort their membership out as soon as possible as they will need to do so anyway and doing it now will avoid unnecessary gate charges on the day. Membership can be done here http://22.214.171.124/memberships/
Also, there are still some tables available for the dinner we are having at Well Hall to mark the opening of the Rugby World Cup. Places are available at £20 a head, or £160 for a table of 8. Dinner is at 6pm and will then be followed by England v Fiji on the various TV screens around the bar and hall.
To book yours whilst there is still availability please email Lisa Maresca-Harmer on email@example.com or call her on 07747 795768.
