With the Women’s World Cup kicking off on August 22nd, the RFU is launching a campaign for clubs across the country to get girls into the game and grow excitement and engagement in the Women’s World Cup tournament.
We will be hosting a Girls Activity Day at Well Hall on Aug 30th in line with this countrywide activation.
On the same day we also have the Senior Women hosting a Pre-season Round Robin Game Day with some local teams, and there are three RWC games which we also plan to have showing in the club house throughout the day:
- 12:00 Canada-Wales
- 14:45 Scotland-Fiji
- 17:00 England-Samoa
The details for the Girls Activity day are:
A free fun-filled day designed to introduce girls aged 6–12 to rugby, sparking their interest and excitement for the game and the Women’s Rugby World Cup!

Day’s Schedule
Welcome & Ice Breakers → Crafting → Rugby Skills and Games → Socialising and Watching the Senior Women’s Games/ RWC games.
