Blackheath is where Club rugby started and the womens’ section continues that proud tradition.
Blackheath were one of the country’s earliest womens teams (initially playing at Bromley RFC) and the team will kick off their 40th season next year.
BWRFC will be marking this milestone at Utilita, on 6 September 2025, with a celebration dinner and dance. It will be an opportunity to eat, drink and dance, and to catch up with current and past players, supporters and club members.
