Blackheath Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of winger/centre Faysal Olabooye. Having previously been at Northampton Saints Academy, Esher and Colchester, Faysal joins us from RAMS.
James Shanahan, Head Coach, says “Faysal Olabooye — a centre/wing who comes from RAMS. Before that he was part of Saints academy and played with Oli Burgess at Bedford School, winning the Daily Mail Cup. A rough diamond who I think can add real x-factor and pace to the back line.”
Faysal says “Really excited for the challenges this season will bring and helping Blackheath where I can for us to compete at Nat 1. Blackheath’s a club with lots of history so I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to get to work.”
