Rugby’s back!

We may have had the World Cup to keep us entertained over the last couple of weekends, but who’s missing the real rugby?

After a couple of rest weekends, rugby’s back! On Saturday 4 November, in Round 8 of National One, the 1st XV take to the road to play Plymouth Albion at Brickfields Recreation Ground, kicking off at 15:00 – Gary’s handy tips are below, should you be travelling. Our Tweeter Extraordinaire will be at the game, so don’t forget to follow us on Twitter/X to get minute by minute updates if you’re not travelling.

And if you’re not going to Devon this weekend, we have a great game of rugby at The Utilita, with our Club XV playing Ampthill 1881 XV. Kick off is 14:00, so please come along and support them if you can.

Our next home game, of course, is ‘The Big Match’ against Richmond on 11 November – it’s a double header for the senior teams, with the 1st XV kicking off at 15:00 and the Club XV playing Richmond Saxons at 14:00, and we also have an U12s match before the 1st XV game kicking off at 13:30, so it will be a great Club day and we’re expecting a big crowd! Make sure you come along early to make the most of the three matches going on.
