Blackheath Rugby travels to Richmond tomorrow in the final game of this National One season, kicking off at 15:00. It’s fitting that this historic fixture also allows us to say goodbye to some of our centurions and other players who have made a big impact this season. Saturday, the players will be running out for their last caps, making the following totals for their Club careers:
- Markus Burcham – 283 caps
- Tom Baldwin – 169 caps
- Leo Fielding – 124 caps
- Jack Daly – 113 caps
- Auguy Slowik – 18 caps
Not forgetting, of course, our Director of Rugby: James Shanahan will be leaving us having coached the squad for 191 games.
We thank them all for their service to The Club, and hope to see them coming through the gates of Well Hall as supporters in the future.
The Club XV will also be at Richmond, playing these Vikings at 13:00 so go along early and support both teams in their last games of the 2024/25 campaigns.
