A familiar face to all, we’re delighted to see Andrew Boye returning to play for the club, after sustaining an injury early last season.
Talking about Andy, Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “I am really pleased Andy is returning from his long term injury sustained last season. His work rate and footwork before contact are huge assets and I am hoping he will return to the excellent form he showed last year during pre-season.” Andy can’t wait to get back to the Club, and says “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time and the great people at the club so far. It’s amazing to see where we’re at, considering we were playing in National 2 not so long ago! I am looking forward to a special season in the Champ, with a talented group of players.”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “After a season disrupted by injury we are really pleased to see Andy Boye back with us as we look towards Champ rugby. Andy has been a popular and regular fixture over the past few seasons and we are looking forward to him getting back into his stride and being a big part of this season’s progress.”
