We’re delighted to announce the signing of second row player Zak Farrance.
Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “Zak is a very strong ball carrier and hits rucks, mauls and breakdowns hard. It is great to have his level of physicality in the squad.” Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, is looking forward to seeing Zak play, and says “Welcome to Zak, who started his senior career for Jersey Reds and then moved across to France where he spent a number of years at Agen and Oyonnax. He’s got a big presence on the pitch, and will add more height and weight to the pack along with some invaluable Champ experience.”
Zak can’t wait to get stuck in, and says “I’m excited to be part of a passionate squad and coaching team that wants to compete with everyone they play against. Having played rugby all round the world there is something special about being back close to home, where I grew up, it’s something I’m really excited about.”
Welcome the Club, Zak — we look forward to seeing you on the pitch soon!
