We’ve introduced some new faces, and we’d like to welcome one back! Tom Everard, a second row player who left Blackheath Rugby in early 2025 to travel to Australia, returns to the squad.
Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “Tom Everard rejoins Blackheath as a player who we know well. He’s committed, hardworking and gives everything whenever he steps onto the pitch. We’re very pleased to have him with us and excited to see him back in Club colours!” and Tom himself can’t wait to get started “Back where I belong. Looking forward to playing with the lads again and seeing if they’ve got any better while I’ve been away…! Seriously, though, it means a lot to be coming back to Blackheath. I’m really looking forward to being part of the club again and especially to playing alongside my mates.”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “A familiar face returns from some time out in Australia. Tom brings considerable bulk and experience from his time at Jersey and previously with Blackheath. Always a strong scrummaging second row with excellent lineout presence he will give us that quality and depth that we need in our front 5 this coming season and we welcome him back.”
