COMMUNITY MANAGER

Over the last few years, Blackheath Rugby has launched and developed a very successful community project, delivering rugby coaching into local primary and secondary schools. In the latest academic year, over 20 local schools benefited from this project.

With the recent promotion into the Champ League, Blackheath Rugby is looking to raise the profile of our work in the community and broaden the breadth and impact of our community project. We are therefore seeking to appoint a full-time Community Manager to work with the Community Project team and drive forward various initiatives to grow the activities of the community project.

This is a full-time employed role, with salary and pension benefits. Good organisational skills and an empathetic and supportive approach to the community project are at the heart of this role, which is a key development in building Blackheath Rugby’s presence in the local community. RFU coaching qualifications are a requirement for this role. DBS Safety checks will be undertaken.

Interested candidates are invited to apply to james.fleming@blackheathrugby.co.uk, attaching an up-to-date CV. A job description will be sent to those who apply for the role, and an interview will be organised for applicants who demonstrate relevant experience in their application.

Closing date for applications is Tuesday 11 August, 2026.
