Blackheath Rugby is saddened to hear of the passing of former Blackheath FC player and Scottish international, John Douglas.
Shortly after leaving school, during his National Service, John played for the British Army. After completing this he played for Blackheath over three seasons from 1955-1958. He went on to play for Kent, Scotland, the British and Irish Lions, and the Barbarians.
