The Club would like to congratulate four of our 3rd team Bandits who have been selected to represent Kent in the Under 20 National County Championship pool match versus Sussex at Charlton Park RFC on Sunday 6th February kick off at 2pm.
Our Men’s Section is growing in numbers and is going from strength to strength. It provides a solid platform for our talented youth players who are transitioning from Junior to Senior rugby.
Coach Conor Mitchell said “It’s great to see these guys called up to the Kent U20s squad, they’re hugely talented players who have not only come up through the age groups at Blackheath but have also been performing well for the Bandits/Club 3rd XV across the last couple of seasons. The men’s section has been thriving since things restarted after the COVID-enforced break and a lot of the credit should go to these younger players who have graduated into the men’s section and have been giving some of us ‘older hands’ a run for their money. Well done guys, I look forward to seeing you represent the Club well in a couple of weeks’ time!”
