Blackheath Rugby Women’s section is looking for a new Head Coach to lead the squad in to next season, when we celebrate the section’s 40th anniversary.
Position Overview
The Women’s Section Head Coach is responsible for the leadership, growth, and development of the Women’s Section. This role ensures that all coaching aspects of the Women’s Section operate effectively, creating a positive and inclusive environment in which players can engage in rugby with varying levels of experience.
The candidates should be able to plan and execute engaging training sessions that cater to varying skill levels, as well as position specific development through fostering a seamless player development pathway.
The Women’s Section Head Coach will collaborate closely with the sections Committee and team members, encouraging them to reach their full potential and promote a growth mindset. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in coaching, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to fostering both individual and team development and growth, whilst ensuring adherence to the governance of the Club and the RFU.
This is a part-time paid position.
