Blackheath Rugby is thrilled to announce the signing of centre Chris Ball, who joins us after playing rugby league for Sheffield Eagles.
James Shanahan, Head Coach, says “Chris Ball comes in from Rugby League side Sheffield Eagles. In league he’s a big physical presence at 2nd row or centre (2nd row in league is basically a centre). I look forward to seeing him punch some big holes in National 1 defences.”
Chris is excited to be switching code, and says “I’m looking forward to returning to union with Blackheath and testing myself in a tough league. I know that Blackheath are looking to build on from last season and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
