JORDAN BURNS – 25 CAPS
Congratulations to Jordan Burns, who celebrates his 25th game against Rotherham. Jordan first ran out in Club colours on 18 November 2023, against Birmingham Moseley, and this season alone has scored 10 tries (and been instrumental in many others).
ALEX WITCHELL – 50 CAPS
Alex Witchell celebrates his 50th game in Club colours today, when he runs on to the pitch against Rotherham. Having come through the youth section, we’re very proud that Alex is ‘home grown’: he put on 1st XV Club colours for the first time in September 2022, against Dorking.
MARKUS BURCHAM – 282 CAPS
Markus Burcham. Club legend.
Today Markus runs out for game number 282, which represents an all time (modern day) record for a Club player, surpassing the previous record of 281. This includes a run of 154 games that went unbroken — with 26 matches per season, 154 games represents nearly 6 seasons without missing a single 1st XV game, which shows tremendous durability and amazing determination.
We thank Markus for his unwavering commitment to the Club and, of course, we will be celebrating more of his story before the end of the season.
Fantastic achievement for all three players — we can’t wait to see them on the pitch today, and with them every success for the game.
