We’re excited to announce that full back Iwan Price-Thomas has signed up to play for the club this coming season. Iwan was previously at Cornish Pirates.
Telling us about Iwan, Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “Iwan Price-Thomas is a talented player who brings a strong kick game alongside good aerial ability. He has a great attitude and fits the culture we’re building at Blackheath. We’re delighted to welcome him to the club and look forward to his impact this season.” Iwan is looking forward to joining Blackheath, and says “I can’t wait to start: playing for an ambitious club with quality players looking to cement themselves and kick on in the Champ!”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “We are delighted to welcome Iwan who joins us from Cornish Pirates where he had a very strong season. Born in Cardiff and having represented Wales U19’s and England students we are very excited that Iwan has chosen Blackheath as we make our way in the Champ. He’s a full back that can play 10 and with a good kicking game he also kicks for goal too. He was a key player for Bath Uni in their Super BUCS team and we look forward to watching his progress this season.”
