Blackheath Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of tighthead prop Jack Owlett.
A former student at Exeter University, Jack played at country level for Scotland U19 and U20, and was picked up by the Exeter Chiefs, where he joined their Academy after university. After a few seasons at Cornish Pirates and Wasps, Jack joins us from Worcester Warriors.
James Shanahan, Head Coach, says “Jack brings a huge wealth experience having played Premiership for Worcester and Championship side Pirates. Looking forward to working with him – he gives us tremendous depth in a highly demanding position. Now focusing on his career, working in the City, he fits the mould of the type of player we are looking for.”
We’re looking forward to seeing Jack’s strength on the pitch, and he can’t wait to get started: “I’m looking forward to joining Blackheath, a club with such a rich history. I hope to add to what is going to be an exciting squad this coming season alongside focusing on my career, having moved to London in December.
