We’re very happy to announce the signing of scrum half Max Blinkhorn who joins us from Nottingham Uni.
Telling us about Max, Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “Max has played high level representative rugby growing up and has a good skill set for a scrum half. He will be a threat himself as well as providing top service. We’re excited to see him integrate into the squad during training and perform in the pre season matches.” Max also can’t wait to get started, and says “Blackheath’s promotion into the Champ is an exciting one, and gives me the opportunity to keep playing at the highest level possible!”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “We are delighted to welcome Max to Blackheath, he’s represented England at U19’s and U20’s and we look forward to seeing his progress this season in the Champ. Scrum half is such a strong position this season and we hope he can continue his progress in the Champ this coming season.”
