Blackheath Rugby is delighted to announce that Noah Sloot has signed for the new season, after being on loan last season, from Cambridge.
James Shanahan, Director of Rugby, says “Obviously we were lucky enough to have Noah on loan last year. After chatting to Noah and Cambridge, we were both keen on making him a permanent Blackheath player. He brings huge physicality both sides of the ball and made a great impact last season. It’s great he’s now a Club man!”
Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, is also looking forward to seeing Noah back in Club colours, and says “We are really pleased to welcome Noah back to the Club but this time as a Blackheath player and not a loanee from Championship side Cambridge. He gave us some additional quality last season and I know that with him available to us in the back row, we will have genuine options for the challenges ahead. He’s not only a physical player, he’s a smart player and gives us even more quality in what looks like an impressive pack this season. Good luck for the season Noah and welcome back.”.
Speaking about his signing, Noah says “I’m really looking forward to starting at Blackheath. I was here on a short loan last season and really enjoyed it. Played some great rugby, and there seems to be a really good vibe about the Club. Excited to see what comes this season.”
