Peter Bullock

Blackheath Rugby offers its sympathies to the families and friends of Peter Bullock.

Peter attended school in Stowe and then took a course of study at Watford College of Technology. Before joining Blackheath FC he played scrum-half for Northampton and had the honour of representing the North Midlands against Argentina on 7th October 1978.

Peter was an excellent all-round sportsman. At Blackheath he was a first team tennis player winning many trophies. He also played cricket. At Blackheath rugby he was a first team player for several seasons and was 1st XV Captain for the season 1980-81.

Standing down from the 1st XV Peter played social rugby with the Banshees enjoying trips to Majorca and Wales. On a Golden Oldies tour to Torquay some of the travelling supporters arranged a hockey match, Peter was handed a stick and proved to be a natural.

Our condolences go to his wife Jo and family.

The funeral is on Wednesday 28th May at 3pm at Southlands Barn near Chiltington, RH20 2JU. Club ties (and blazers) to be worn.
