Blackheath Rugby is excited to announce the signing of Rory Marsh, a tight-head prop who joins us from Barnes.
James Shanahan, Director of Rugby, says “We’ve had an eye on Rory since the season we played Barnes, who were the best team we played in Nat 2 East up front. He’s a Kent lad so once I knew he was available it was a no brainer. With losing Henry Paul we needed to strength our depth and competition at tighthead and Rory brings us that. Looking forward to seeing him at Blackheath this season.”
Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, can’t wait to see Rory in Club colours “Rory joins having had an impressive season at Barnes, and brings with him a solid scrum pedigree which we look forward to seeing at the Utilita. It’s fair to say he caused us a lot of trouble when we came up against him and we hope he continues to do so for Club this season against our opposition in National 1. We welcome Rory to Blackheath.”
