Thank you to all the amazing people who turned up on Saturday for the final volunteer day of the summer. We were able to get a load of jobs done, helping to get the site in shape for the new season.
We had helpers from all sections of the rugby club, aged from 7 to 85, which was fantastic – half time biscuits were provided by Christine and helped the second half of the morning whizz by!
All the 25 volunteers stayed around afterwards for pizza and drinks, and most also watched the double header against Barnes, where Blackheath came out on top for both matches.
We would also like to thank the regular weekly volunteers who keep both sites looking fantastic. If you have spare time on a Tuesday or a Wednesday from 10:00 and would like to join them for a couple of hours, drop us an email.
