We’re delighted to announce the return of Tom Ffitch to the club. Tom, a fly half who left Blackheath Rugby at the end of the 2024/25 season. Tom first put on club colours in September 2022, and gained 54 caps before moving to Spain for a year.
Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “It’s great to have Tom back at Blackheath. He is a very skilful player and is a good running threat. He joins us whilst recovering from a knee injury, so we are hoping he makes a quick recovery.” Tom himself can’t wait to get started “I’m very excited to re-sign with the Club. After a year away dealing with an injury, I’m looking forward to getting back involved with the boys. The challenge of competing in the Championship excites me, and it’s the right environment to get back to my best. With such a competitive squad, there will be real quality to push against in training, and I’m focused on a measured return so I can make a genuine impact when I’m ready to play.”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “Nice to see Tom back at Well Hall. He’s recovering well from knee surgery, and we are hoping to see him in full flight very soon”
