Across the sections this weekend, we have taken a moment to pause and remember those who have lost their lives in the wars. From the 1st XV to the Minis, a period of silence allowed us to pay our respects.
Yesterday, before the Bedford game kicked off, Major Luke Wadman, Commanding Officer of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Woolwich, joined the teams on the pitch for a minute’s silence, before laying a wreath at the Memorial Gates.

This morning at The Utilita, the Juniors paused their training to join a service at the Gates, bringing together the difference sections of the Club along with the wider community, in a service led by Rev Ray Armstead.

At Hervey Road the Minis also stopped their training, and at 11am the minute’s silence across our sites enabled young and old to reflect on that which has gone before.

Thank you to those who organised the service at The Utilita, and to all those who joined the periods of quiet reflection over the weekend.

We will remember.
