Blackheath Rugby is thrilled to announce the signing of Wilson Ijeh, a back three player who joins us from Ampthill.
Telling us about Wilson, Blackheath Rugby’s Head Coach Tom Stradwick says “Wilson Ijeh brings pace and power to the back three. He’s a good aerially and can contest kicks wining us back possession. We’re very happy to have him at the club and look forward to his contributions.” Wilson himself can’t wait to get started, and says “I’m looking forward to joining the club because it is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious team with a great culture. I’m eager to contribute on and off the field, build strong relationships with my teammates, and help the club achieve its goals this season.”
On the new signing, Russell Ticehurst, Managing Director, says “Wilson joins us from Ampthill where he appeared on the wing, so joins the battle for a back three spot. He’s physical and fast and we are all looking forward to seeing him in club colours as soon as possible.”.
