At the Annual General Meeting of the Club on 8th July, the Club’s Executive Committee advised members that we would freeze the membership subscription levels at 2024-2025 season prices. The Executive recognises the challenges that rising costs of living have made to our members and their families and the Club is also not immune from those, in respect of upkeep and investment in facilities across our three grounds, while maintaining 1st XV flagship facilities which we plan to use even more for our Community Rugby sections this season.

The tariff also compares very favourably with the levels set by the most senior clubs in this region. Nevertheless, the Club will absorb the effects of inflation for the coming season.

The tariff is as follows:

Membership payments are now due and we are immensely grateful to those who have paid their dues so far and indeed taken advantage of the Early Bird Offer which ran until July.  Existing members who have not yet paid should settle their invoices as soon as possible, as they have been issued in July.

The cut off date for paying membership is 1st October 2025, after which date non-members will not be permitted to use the facilities. This includes training and playing, and discounts will not be available at the bars at Well Hall and Hervey Road at any time.

This applies to all players including, importantly, the semi-professional squads and coaches. Attendance at training and playing will continue to be taken (a Safeguarding requirement in any case in the Minis and Juniors), and monitored by the Membership Secretary. It is unfair to those who pay, to allow those who don’t, to play.

Membership fees, as is the case for all members’ clubs, are one of the vital income streams to keep the Club going; and in paying, you become an owner and shareholder in the Club for the duration of your membership; a shareholder in the oldest open Rugby Club in the world with an unrivalled heritage in London, in English rugby and in the history of the game.

Please support the Club and make it yours.
