And here we are! Blackheath Rugby welcomes Richmond Rugby to The Utilita tomorrow for ‘The Big Match’. In fact, there are three matches going on:
- Blackheath Rugby v Richmond Rugby KO 15:00
- Club XV v Richmond Saxons KO 14:00
- Blackheath U12s v Richmond U12s KO 13:30
The U12s from both teams will be providing a guard of honour as the teams come on to the pitch, and don’t forget that our Minis will be selling raffle tickets, to raise money for their tour next year (prizes are a meat platter from our wonderful local butcher, and a £100 voucher for The Ivy).
We’re also celebrating Leo Fielding’s 100th cap for Blackheath Rugby, and Markus Burcham’s 250th cap – both fantastic achievements!
The forecast is good, so come along early, enjoy the atmosphere, grab a beer and some food, and enjoy the day! Gates open at midday.
Entry is £15 (buy on the gate, online tickets can be bought from Ticket Co) with under 16s FREE.
