My day at Blackheath Rugby

“On Saturday I joined my friend, writer Patrick Kidd, for a day at Blackheath rugby club. Starting with a pint at the Princess of Wales, where the world’s oldest independent club was founded in 1858, we then went to Utilita Stadium in Eltham for the National League 1 match against Leeds Tykes,” writes Marc Aspland, The Times

“I specifically chose this match to photograph the club captain Billy Harding who has scored the most tries by any player in any league of counties standard and above.”

Read Marc’s article in The Times, and have a look at the photographs he took, below.

Thank you for visiting, Marc – we’re glad you had a wonderful day, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon
