Blackheath Rugby is thrilled to announce the signing of Billy Harding.
Billy joins us from Rosslyn Park, having previously played at Wasps, Ampthill and Coventry (on loan). He has made 166 appearances across the Premiership, Championship and National leagues, and has scored 37 tries across the three different levels. Billy has also earned three caps for England Counties.
James Shanahan, Head Coach, says “I’ve been trying to sign Billy since he played for me at England counties – his basics are excellent, plus outstanding around the pitch, like having a back rower. He’s also a great bloke off the field, which is huge as well!”. And Billy can’t wait to get started with Blackheath Rugby “Really looking forward to the season starting and helping where I can on Blackheath’s return to National One. My family lived in Blackheath for a few years, with my brother playing for the juniors and my Dad for the vets, so it will be great to pull on the shirt as well!”.
