And, just like that, rugby returns! Blackheath Rugby travel to Wales tomorrow, to kick off the pre-seasons with a rerun of an historic match against Newport RFC — the oldest Anglo-Welsh game in history (first played in 1879). Club will be helping the Black and Ambers’ to celebrate their 150th anniversary season at The Newport Stadium, KO 15:00.
As a reminder for the start of the National One season, we’re opening with ‘The Big Match 2’ against Richmond, which will be at The Utilita on Saturday 7 September, KO 15:00
