After the summer break, rugby is back at The Utilita this Saturday, with Blackheath Rugby welcoming newly promoted Championship side Richmond through the gate. In a match that sees the Club continuing the strong tradition with our local friends and rivals, the game further extends the oldest rugby fixture in the world to its 162nd year, with the sides first coming together in the 1863/64 season.
The First XV game kicks off at 15:00, but don’t forget this is a double header, and the Club XV can be seen playing Richmond Vikings at the slightly earlier time of 14:00.
Entrance is free and the bar will be open, so come along and watch a couple of great games of rugby, and catch up with friends, members and supporters.
