We are delighted to inform you that Blackheath Rugby has received a grant of £10,000 from the Greenwich Neighbourhood Growth Fund (“GNGF”), to support the repairs and improvement works to our boiler, water tank and showers.
The GNGF is operated by Greenwich Council and an application was submitted in the latest round of funding in December 2023. All applications were vetted by Greenwich Council and then opened up to residents of the Borough, who were able to vote in support of individual applications. The application from Blackheath Rugby received over 200 votes and the application was successfully approved.
The improvement works will considerably improve our shower and water heating facilities.
We are grateful to all residents of Greenwich Borough who voted in favour of our application.
