COME AND CELEBRATE YOUR RUGBY CLUB ON ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON
Calling all Blackheath/Bromley WRFC alumni.
Do you remember the first time you picked up a rugby ball and stepped out on to a muddy pitch? It could be a week ago. It could be years ago. It could even be decades ago – because in the 2025/26 season we will be celebrating our 40th year of women’s rugby.
We are still going strong. We are celebrating! And we are calling our past and present members home to celebrate with us.
We are starting the 2025/26 season with a huge reunion dinner for all our ex and current players and supporters.
Whether you best remember Bromley or Rectory Field or Well Hall (now the Utilita) … Whether you have many seasons of mud-soaked memories or just flashbacks of a few games … Whether you toured or sang … Whether you got bruised or did the bruising …. Whether you won or lost … We’d love to see you at our celebration.
We hope we have arranged it so anyone can come by, even if you can’t stay to the end.
The date: Saturday 6 September 2025
The venue: The Utilita, Kidbrooke Lane, London SE9 6TE
The event: We’ll have a reception (don’t worry, you won’t miss the Womens’ World Cup England v Australia clash); there will be a big dinner; speeches; a disco and Ginger Bennett’s big band.
We’ll be partying till 1am.

3: Pass the word! There are a LOT of ex-players and friends of the club who aren’t on our list. Please pass this on to anyone you know, invite them and, with their permission, let us know their email address.
